Getting Started With The Tuned Power BI Template

power bi is a microsoft desktop software that runs on windows this software allows the end user to visualize complex data sets tuned has developed a power bi template to assist creators in understanding backtest, live, paper for packs on single execution plus batchtest results power bi is free for personal use, and cloud services are available at additional cost more information about power bi can be found here power bi website https //powerbi microsoft com/ download links power bi download page https //powerbi microsoft com/en us/downloads/ tuned template tuned power bi dashboard v4 2 release https //drive google com/file/d/1cxagsldygqjgmxzfcsdvqvcy4hgsq7gt/view?usp=sharing getting started 1\ download and install power bi (upgrade to the latest version if available) 2\ create a new folder where you will store the json files downloaded from tuned for example, 'c \users\\\<user>\documents\tuneddownloads' — it is important that only the json files are stored here, any other files could cause the power bi template to create errors 3\ download json file from tuned and place it in the folder chosen above a backtest, papertrade or live (pack or single execution) b due to the potential size of batchtests, the downloaded json file will only include the runs which have been favourited 4\ place all downloaded json files into your chosen directory and make sure not to rename any of the files 5\ download the tuned powerbi template file and store it somewhere sensible 6\ load powerbi by double clicking on the template file 7\ because this is a template file, you will be asked for hte folder location this is where you paste in the folder address for your json files and click load e g , 'c \users\user>\documents\tuneddownloads' for this eaxmple 8\ powerbi will spend some time loading the data and creating the visuals depending on the amount of data and the speed of your computer, this could take anywhere from just a few seconds up to 1 minute 9\ once loaded, the dashboard will need to be saved (file > save as) to avoid making the dashboard large and difficult to use, try using multiple files that look at different exchanges or markets 10\ when new json files are added tot he folder or removed, you can refresh the dashboard by clicking refresh on the ribbon if there are any problems or errors, please raise them in the #bug report discord channel where someone will be able to support you
